Deleting images from user gallery

As I'm almost at my limit of uploading images I've been needing to remove some I don't need but I can't do so. The images in question are ones outside of my favourites, apparently they need to be in a gallery before it can be done but I can't even shift them.

Any ideas?

have you linked to them in threads?

edit: yes you have,as this icon tells me

you cannot delete them as you would reder the posts useless that you used them in
your option is use attachments or donate for more space

Just donate, and more space is allocated iirc
