Does this make sense? it's in my psychology hand out and can't work out what itr means
"This is a behavioural approach suggesting that depression may be learned why people try but fail to control unpleasant experiences"
I don't right get it.

If you still havent figured it out, I think it means depression is a result of people being unable to successfully control an unpleasant experience. With no positive outcome, it'd probably cause a feeling of helplessness & other related symptoms of depression... (y)

Why do maltesers out of a box taste different to the ones out of a bag?
I assume the ones in the box taste a bit cardboardy and the ones in the bag taste a bit plasticky because you're a chocolate lover and just eat the whole lot, without opening the box or bag first. :)
