Great Yarmouth will be "home" for the GPS, myself & Mrs Ffoxy from Sunday aternoon to Tuesday evening, just a few days away.

Anyone know of anything we can occupy our time doing down there (other than the obvious) :p

Visit Norwich. Great city. And take a trip to Walsingham: charming, and very weird. Keep going to Holkham and Houghton - if you like country houses - and walk along the endless sands at Holkham. Shingle beaches at Cley and Blakeney. Most of the north Norfolk pubs are good too. Some are great.

If you must stay in Yarmouth  visit the Time and Tide museum: it really is a surprise; then get out of Yarmouth and try the sands to the north at Waxham.
Ordinary stuff you can do anywhere.

dog racing monday nights i belive. 13 races £6.50 to get in min bets £1

:yeahthat: and banger racing, but not sure what day.

Yarmouth is ok, but nothing special. Might be worth a day trip out to Wroxham. Got 'Roys' the biggest village shop, and could go out on a boatin trip?

Where abouts in Yarmouth are you staying?

Dunno where, on the seafront I think MEP so my car should be visible :p.

Thnx to all for their suggestion, but looks like weather might be good so the beach might be fave during the day, restaurant and pub for the nights (y)
