Howdy

Im having trouble, believe it or not, finding a cheap hotel or B&B in Whitby, for 1 night next wednesday, for two adults. tried expedia, tried googling, all i get it is ones that look cheap, but when you look at two adults, they go from £38 to £150+ a night. Either that or expedia finds hotels 30+ miles away

Anyone know of anywhere decent?

ooh ahh. My sister and her husband go to one in whitby. They says its good. I'll ask them

Also my Parents go now and again at weekends, they stay in this hotel quite near the water.. ill ask later lol

Does it have to be Whitby. Dont suppose you have thought of Robin Hoods Bay ??

Well im going to Robin hoods bay in the daytime but need to stay in Whitby for a **** up

Car parking in Whitby is at a premium as it's not exactly a large place.

now there is no pub within walking distance and its about a 20 min drive to whitby but there is a lovely self catering guest house at Plexton moor farm (near dalby forrest)

When I used to go for **** ups in Whitby I stayed at the Duke of Wellington in Danby which is a short drunken stumble from a railway station and cheaper.

My parents stop at Bagdale hall - near the water- 2 mins away from the harbour
and my sister stopped at Riverside which is a little further out from the town slightly.
