avon

my sister does it....

if you can get enough clients its well worth doing (y)

snaith is split by two avon people, and my sister tends to have clients ranging from 13/14 to well in there 80s... is it somthing like 15% they make on all orders... she has some that order £5 or 6 worth of stuff.... and some that will spend triple figures

only issue i have is when shes got massive orders.... and wants a taxi...

i keep threatening to buy her a vauxhall nova and switch the lettering round :devil:

she delivers a good 60ish i think....

ive only really seen the boxes of stuff.... and theres usually 3 large boxes delivered :)

whatt they get in commision so to speak varies on the product, if its an own branded product (such as the facial scrub i get)... she gets more then if its a non avon product (i think)

"has a look at the avon book hes got to put an order in"

dont forget the men section as well..... although i think im the only male who buys of her :)

its a bit more expensive then what you spend in the likes of savers, superdrug, or even boots..... but for the people who arent mobile.... or like me who are maybe a bit lazy.... its perfect to just fill in a few boxes and get items delivered :D... plus i know that its earning my sister a few £'s (y)

Does (or did) anyone on here do avon?

I am thinking about doing it, the girl that used to do it round here seems to have stopped and she wasnt very good.

Is it worth doing or is it too much hassle for little money?

ta

I used to be an Avon Rep(y)
The reason/s i gave up are that i got fed up having to go back to peoples houses when they didnt leave the brochure out on the designated day, then you get the same with delivering the order, it can take a few attempts to achieve either task.
I also kept buying loads myself:eek: temptation was too much!
I did find when taking on another rep's customers people were reluctant to take the time to place an order as the previous rep/s had been un-reliable.

I wouldnt be concerned that the products are more expensive than high street brands, as exsisting customers neeeeeeeeeed their Avon products, anything else just wont do, (this is what i found on my round)
If you can arrange to take on someone elses 'patch/round' then do so, it will be a good start for you, people that buy/use Avon will always buy again(y) I also found that friends/family that dont usually use Avon are willing to try out a few products to 'help you out' and before you know it they will be addicted..this is where you will make your easy money;)

I miss having Avon, there was a really nice rep when I lived in my last house (y) Personally it does seem a lot of hassle for the money, but if it turns into something you enjoy then however much you make it's worth it (y) Don't forget it's only a few weeks till first pay from new job also :D

ding dong avon calling....f*ck off i'm having my dinner:mad:

:ROFLMAO:

Last time our rep came around I was installing Radar detector in front bumper of Stilo, and she asked me if I'd smacked my car up, if not why was I working on it  :p

Then went on about a Saxo hitting and writing off her Fiesta.

Can you get male Avon rep's

Is it only on comission, or is that on top of a basic pay
