You get a much better selection of cars on things like the revival rally,( almost got it back on topic here, work with me) although any TV coverage will only show the ones who can afford to pay for the TV coverage.

cheers

Yeah agree with you there. The Rally Sun Seeker in Bournemouth is the same, you get every thing from the Hyundai Accent, Focus, Escort & Imprezza WRC cars, to Metro 6R4, integrale's, Escort/Sierra Cosworths, Imprezza's, Mitsubishi's all the way down to Pug 206's, 106 Rallye's, Micra's, Talbot Samba Fiesta XR2, Escort MK RS2000's, Proton Satira, Dahatsu Avonzato and a locally prepared Pug 306 Cosworth , I just love seeing the mix of cars all competing & its great when they do the final rounds at night in the town centre driving through the gardens up to the pier approach & along the sea front full spot lights glowing, glorious back drop to the fire spitting cars :D

Hope thats on topic enough for you ;)

Most of the cars at this event were just your bog standard road car with a Grp N exhaust. Most sounded very rough as they had been driving for two days through forrests. I cant see how the people get the money to do the events. Its just like saying yeah after work i'll take my punto for a blast through the forrest?!?

Some guys driveshaft broke just in front of where i was standing, he put his foot down out of a hairpin and bang it just died.
Saw Gwyndaff Evans in the car park, he is rather short. Also so the BTCC privatier (spelling) Matt Neil.
