Not really wanting to put this in the Multipla section as it's a bit quite an not really about the whole 'Adventure' thing that we get up to with the cars so LL is a much better place for a wider audience to follow me across the States with our 10 year old 100k Ugly Bug.

Anyway, it's going to be one of the first Multiplas to cross the Atlantic this weekend and arrive in New York in 10 days.

More updates soon!

Jim

In this case can we give you a challenge Jim ?

Instead of pictures of the journey how about pictures of the faces over there when they see it :ROFLMAO:

Here's wishing a millpond crossing for the ugly bug :D :D

Well, I wasn't going to get a new website just for the Ugly Bug.... And as the man says it's little compared to a GM Suburban!

Anyway, we got our last fuel before New York

Yes, and it's very comfy inside (well rear offside seat is anyways :))

Jim, have you managed to sort out the little niggles

Well, I got the biggest niggle sorted out....

Getting it into the United States! It's there!!!!

How long you gonna be out there?

I was thinking of going to the Freakout on the 14th ...

Aye, that would be amazing as we're all going to be there. Weird meeting the Owner of the UK Fiat forum at an American car show in Pennsylvania when showing a Birmingham registered Multipla, lol

That and I want to pick you brains on how we could get the panda into Japan in 2012 when we do the round the world....

Fred

Ps, Dave... Jim's just busy and I'm keeping an eye on things;)

I was in two minds about it, as I have no idea about how it works at all ... I did send an email, but (maybe I read it wrong) they didn't seem too enthusiastic about me coming.

Would you have room in the car for me to travel around with you guys to the daily events, a hirecar looks ridiculously expensive  and any idea where would be a good place to stay?

I'll go check flights out ... :D
