Newbies !!

OK I know I'm just a newbie myself
but is it just me or are there anybody else that think
when posting in the "newbie" thread we are just meant to introduce ourselves
i have seen a few that come straight in with a question not
even a "hi all" surely questions should be kept for the appropriate thread ?
or are the powers that be more relaxed here than other sites ?,
not trying to start any arguments here, just think its a bit cheeky,
everybody needs help at some point its just good manners to say hello first,

Every forum is different, not everyone has the same rules as here, nor are many people perhaps very knowledgeable about forums nor want to stay for a long time, they just want their problem answering and will come back again and again, its only the oddballs like us that stay for ages

Most question threads in newbie section get moved anyway, if you think its in wrong place click the ! in the red trinagle at bottom of post and request it be moved to right section and a mod will sort it out at some point
