Im a great fan of Bittorrent, esp on a 1Mbit/s DSL!!
Also having the same Probs with DC++m but Im resorting to eDonkey2000, that seems OK.

Just thought I would investigate DC++

Installed it, plus added that 'public hub' list as in an earlier post, added a few shared folders [mainly My Music plus My Kazaa folder ;)] - this has allowed me access to a few very nice hubs :)

i use winmx - obviously running spy s&d afterwards, emule also bit torrent, although i tend to get more films rather than music from bt

You could always be legal  ....... www.allofmp3.com

About 50-90 pence an album! you pick what encoding method and bit rate you want and download it.

Much better then downloding poor quality rips from kazza

Just went on that site and was getting very excited, however:

You agree with the fact that you are not able to use and even to download audio and video materials from Allofmp3.com catalogue if it is in the conflict with legislation of your country. Allofmp3.com Administration is unable to control all Allofmp3.com users, therefore the users are responsible for usage of the materials represented on the Site.

From what I can understand, it's no more legal than anything else in the UK....would LOVE to be proven wrong though!
