im going to a do thats a bit posh and dont want to wear my jeans and going out shirt like i would normally do, and want to wear my black suit. Only thing is the only shirt i have with my suit is white and i want something different.

Now im a bit of a unit so things like yellow and pink are out the question, as are blues and greys as im paranoid about showing sweat.

Im not going to wear a tie as i dont have to, its not that formal! what do you reckon?

Have you got a black smart sweatshirt type jumper you could wear over the shirt? I like that look

Is your GF not free to come offer some fashion advice? Check out what the assistants are wearing (try not to look gay while doing this ) and ask for their advice on the latest trends/ what suits you. That's what they're there for

dunno what sort of money you plan on spending but so you know that entire outfit cost inc shoes approx £100

erm...i like the black sweatshirt idea MS500 have one and wear it loads and suits many an occ., what about a pastel blue instead of white not to garish for a shirt without being the same as every1 else...

Probably a bit on the late side now, but there's a shop in Barton Arcade oposite Cafe Rouge on Deansgate that has some very nice smart/casual shirts
that aren't outrageously priced. Bought quite a few from there; usually when Mrs. Beard tells me I can't keep on wearing T- shirts all the time.

she was working yesterday.

Didnt manage to find anything yesterday, so it looks like a white shirt it is.

I maybe able to get away with my usual jeans/shirt/jacket combo- one of my mates will be at the venue before me so he's checking!
