A stilo so not surprised by that. We used to have a stilo estate most reliable car we ever had.

well its wrong for a start, the pass airbag light failure will happen first followed by some of the electrics then the mentioned may occur

Its all a load of crap anyway, since when did microsoft become a reputable car reliability study organisation?

actually tbh face lift onwards stilos are fantastic

but early ones had there problems more so than any other fiat in my experience except the French ones of course

but what gets me if the stilo can be 7 surely the uber reliable pandas can make 1

if you notice, all these cars are either out of production or have a newer/facelifted model in their place.

With the Panda being current, maybe it isnt valid in this alledged 'top 10 reliable cars' although a panda making number 1 is being a bit ambitious especially with Honda never having a single vtec engine completely fail on them in 10+ years of production so no suprises to me to see a honda at the top, although the s2000 is a glaring omission

take that one with a pinch of salt mate i have stripped one down to find failure on an engine run with perfect cooling and lubrication piston ring failure and a little bit of piston cracked away

nothings fool proof fools are far to ingenious

anyway i'm sure lots have failed folowing lack of service cooling failure lack of coolant and so on maybe not hondas fault but still a failure

my dad's civic engine completely failed- they have ways of getting around saying it was a fail though. Basically on his two valves (yes 2) snapped and obviously this lead to the engine being completely foobarred.

then my uncles VTEC engine in his accord blew up!

is it just me or are there some major hideous cars in that line up?

the almera? the rav4? the Jazz?:yuck:

no offence but anyone who believes that is a mug.

the way they word it and the way it happens are two completely different things :D And to keep that facade up, people suffer because honda blame faults on other circumstances and refuse to honour their warrenty.

Wasnt the mk2 punto in the bottom 100 for reliability once? i remember reading it and thinking, im never ever going to own one of those :D

Ford Mondeo (00-07):

Saw a program on the box the other night[auto trader] and Mr brewer said the mondeo suffers with rear suspension bushes at around the 30,000 miles mark and injectors at around 40,000 miles mark ..injectors cost £1,000 to replace according to him..

Think I will keep my panda thanks very much..

Not to mention premature death of dual mass flywheel. Again, mega-expensive.
