Well it looks like next weekend i will be taking the long trip up to Barnsley from down here in kent. As i need to go and pick up my sub.
I think i will be staying over night so i was wondering if anybody wanted too meet up and have a couple of bevies, you know put a face to some of these forum names.
I dont know weather i will be travelling friday or Saturday or where the hell i am staying or even going but thats minor LOL.
I just thought i may aswell make a weekend of it as if it isnt costing me enough.
Also if anybody needs anything small picking up or fancies coming it looks like i am traveling on my own so i could make a small detour.

Well i dont really have a lot of choice, either me or the shop that i bought the sub fromdont want to courier the thing now because they broke it last time almost ruining a £1000 speaker
Luckily he has managed to fix it :woot: but it is about a 4hour drive from here and we need to spend a good couple of hours fitting it and scoping the amps etc as he has so kindly offered to do while i am up that way so i think an over night stop is imminent.

Dont forget your stab vest, you might need it if your off for a night out in Barnsley, random axe attacks are known to occur and they are not big fans of outsiders (people not from barnsley)...trust me they will be looking for a punchup if someone finds out you arent local

Barnsley ain't a bad place to sup as the bars are extremely close together! Only thing is there aint any proper clubs! just bars open till late!

I couldnt really afford a big night out anyway i just may have some hours to kill so maybe a meal and a few drinks with the locals
They aint getin no meet off me im a skinny bstard so perhaps im safe from the mob
I wouldnt want to venture too far from the hotel so its easier to get back lol.
Does anybody know of a cheap Hotel. (without fleas)

travelodge usually works out best

I used to live in barnsley, didnt like it. Was made to feel an outsider and house was the target of the local kids. Not nice and i dont plan ever going there again!

Well luckily im not going to live there lol im just staying over nite and spending a couple of hours fitting and tuning the Stroker.
Yeah i think travel lodge is the best option but if anybody knows of a cheap B&B with a boozer below or next door its gotta be worth a little extra. I .... cant remember what the hell i was going to say.
