well we have a simple pleasures in life thread so how about a simple displeasures in life/pet hates thread.


i have two main ones

parents who do not discipline their kids.

people who have to cause others discomfort unnecessarily eg smokers who purposely have to stand right by the doors for shops etc so that non smokers have to walk through a cloud of smoke.

parents who dont ensure their children can spell
smokers have the right to stand there just like you
(non smoker BTW)

Parents who let their kids smoke, and drink excessive amounts of alcohol.

smoking alcohol is never good

People who drive huge 4x4's who have no legitimate need to have one, can't park them and leave them in places that obscure peoples field of view, blind you at night etc etc:bang::bang::bang:

i myself am a smoker but cant understand why some feel the need to cause discomfort for non smokers through their personal choice.

How about.......Teenagers that dont appreciate what their parents do for them and moan and whinge when they get asked to do something simple in return.

People without morals,dignity or self respect, my biggest pet hates,

in a nutshell covers many aspects,

People who don't thank you when you give way to them when it's your right of way

Queue bargers.

Getting wet feet.

And people who live off the state just because they can. FFS get a job (not at all aimed at those who can't work due to disabilities etc)

People who chew with their mouth open.
Chewing gum.
Taxes.
Death.

totally agree, same with HGV drivers you flash em out and they blank ya!

Having to walk them late at night when its very cold.

So many things that get on my nerves.

People who block the isles at supermarkets with their trollies, and moan when you move it out the way.

People who dont say thank you for letting them though.

People who park in disabled bays when they dont have a blue badge.

People who think they are funny when they say 'Oh I have my own packer *points to wife/husband/whoever*.

Hmmm debris on the road. Picked up a nail last night when going into a car park and had to change the wheel in the dark Then because the spare was for the other side of the car I had to go to kwik fit and the clios new shoe cost more than all my new shoes put together in the last two years

Found a branch lying on the road near a roundabout heading into Nottingham, couldn't avoid it due to a lovely Van trying a similar trick to what Alianax had only at about 20mph, so the wood banged the door quite happily

No damage and the van driver stopped buggering about on his phone and got back in his lane thanks to a bit of the old horn!

It wouldn't matter if they were driving a Punto, artic, van, Metro or anything it's more the fact they were in the 'I can text and drive fine' group who clear can't :bang: and of course no-one should try it either :bang:
