2. Baby on board stickers.. WTF! your gonna not crash into them cause you spotted the sticker a few milliseconds before impact??

They are actually intended to tell the fire brigade that there is (at least one) small child in the vehicle as they can get hidden in an accident by bent up metal and folded over seats, it's a bit like the signs detailing any gas canisters on board.

The 'Princess Driver' or 'Speed Freak' etc ones that look like the baby on board sticker will only make everyone think less of a car carrying one imho!

lol playgirl? aint that like playboy for girls? as in... nude blokes? surely that meens the person driving with that in the car is a dude? or an really ugly girl who cant get a guy?

whoa wait!

Playboy is a lads thing, girls these days have it all wrong, it should be guys who have the stickers etc - like having a nuts/zoo sticker.

I dont understand why girls have playboy stuff, its saying they like naked women, so are they gay?

Hate is too strong a word, but there's lots I dislike and most of them have been mentioned!

That said, the thing I really really hate on cars is f**king frost or frozen snow...

hmm never thought of that, but i've never seen anyone who has them take them off when said baby is not on board  so the fire brigade would be risking their lives searching for said baby who isn't actually there. And what the chances of the rear window remaining intact in a collision that would involve twisting up the rear seats

Its cheaper than trimming in suede, and thats the point.

If your gonna do it, do it right! a bit like trimming in fake leather WTF! your doing the hard bit anyway, may as well do it right!

£120 to get a dash flocked and its more motorsport orientated thing to do so depends what look you are going for. Most people that i know who have got it done dont do it because its cheaper than getting there dash trimmed in suede but its because of the look they are going for in the car.

Lazyness/the idea people will be more careful I guess on not taking them down and and the rear window might stand up in certain circumstances (though surely the baby would have to be in the front passenger seat and not secured properly in the baby seat ), but not many; then again if something slams into the back of a gas bottle carrying van the stickers on that could also get obscured.

£120 for flocking is waaaay cheaper than trimming in suede.

Regardless, the question is what "you" hate on cars, and thats what I hate, and thats my reason! my opinion, get over it! :nerner:

It's like the difference between a full leather retrim with dvd screens and a stripped interior with a cage, racing seats and a fuel cell they are both intended for different purposes you pick the one that suits your interior. Flocking is more of competition anti-glare covering than a style statement.

I always thought that the "baby on board" signs were to warn people so they didnt drive to close and perhaps crash and kill a baby. It shouldnt matter, it's worse if you drive up close and kill and adult.

i generally find one of these on the back of the car helps

(got a magnetic one for when i go camping don't think i need one by law but better be safe than sorry)

No its not! thats a crap analogy, its completely different.
a similar one would be - spraying your bumper or colouring it in with a felt tip pen - effectively achieving the same desired effect, with one just being cheaper and nastier than the other.
They are using a technique to produce a suede effect finish.

In order to reduce glare, fair enough if your rallying it you don't give a dam what it looks like, your merely trying to avoid glare, in which case terry towling would be a cheaper option.
But many use it as a "styling" option, in which case its refering back to my point about cheapening modifications.

silly people.... cars dont flock... birds do

Oh flock off! :D

Pet peeve is still front fog lights. The number of morons driving around with them on at 8.30am when it's just a little bit dull and rainy is unbelievable. Then of course you get the BMW X5/ Range Rover Sports ***** extention brigade who don't know where the switch is and of course the obligatory Chavs in their Saxos thinking it makes them look 'cool' :shakehead:
