They quoted £600 for the STRIPDOWN on the Stilo. It would have been the same again plus probably 25% in parts for the rebuild.
Luckily I found a guy who sorted it plus full testing (head surface situation and pressure tests) for just shy of £600, bbut that included brake work and replacement of the starter motor Id killed.
Unreliable ****e. If I was responsible for that starter's design Id have taken voluntary severance ages ago as its shocking!
