well was on a road trip to Bantry today, about 50 miles from home to go out on the boat when the weather turned ugly, so went to the car to change from shorts to jeans, so got them out and closed the booth and immediately remembered that the keys were in there, Disaster!!!!
Luckily we had a glimmer of hope, the back window was open, courtesy of a back seat passenger (i would have been angry on another day) its a 3 door car so the window only opens sideways and at its widest is only about 3 inches.
slim hope so it seemed.
We tried everthing from catching the far side door lock thing with a pole and piece of string, tried to hook the door handle but eventually managed to get the opposite rear window open, from there we managed to drop the back seat but the boot was full of crap and we couldn't see the keys, so we managed to move the debris out of the way at some golf clubs and uncovered the keys!!! now the problem was getting them out with what little room we had to move, then a miracle happened, my friend accidently dropped the head of the golf club onto the keys and it pressed the unlock button. we were in!!!
It was really funny in the end and it saved breaking a window or driving the hour back to Cork and back with the spare. So if anyone needs to break into their car me and my 8 'associates' are available
