Since the stilo is having probs at the mo and i have no need for it as i have a company van, i was just thinking what would other people do,??

1.6 5 door with 50k on the clock, cars visually and mechanically, mint condition, just electrical probs, it still drives fine,

what would i realistically be expecting to sell as a car,??

what would i expect from breaking it??

its going on ebay at some time so either as a whole or in bits,,, whatcha reckon??

the wheels are only 2 months old too :( with new rubber

i would stick it in the classifieds with a price tag of 'best offer' see if that tempts people.

I would also include in add willing to break and see if people enquire about parts instead.

If you get a firm offer take it, if you get requests for parts break it

Unless it's a non runner you will always do better selling it as is rather than breaking it. Also once you sell it, the entire car is off your drive rather than bits heaped in a corner growing moss that you are keeping because someone may buy them someday. Parkers is always a bit optimistic but you should get £1K for it.

"electrical probs" isnt enough information. depending on the problems it could remove 0% to 90% of the car's value. you need to be more specific, what is wrong with it exactly?

fix the problems before you sell and you will almost certainly add more value to the car than the repair costs.
