i need eper to handle part number requests from FF members, but as we all know you cant get eper.fiatforum.com to work since the version upgrade.

i understand the argument that the newer version covers the newer models, but i cant see the point in a having a newer version if you cant even use it. i dont want to suggest we go back to the old version again because i didnt get much support last time i sugested it.

then it came to me, why choose when we could have both? lets have the previous version on eper2.fiatforum.com, then i can finally answer people's part queries again.

yeah me too. i check almost every day, it works about twice a month.

i agree, there is no point in it being there if it doesnt work. so why not go back to the old version?

doesnt bother me much, copy i have on DVD never fails.

still failing and that other version of eper on the link above doesnt list part i need

Righty - old one back online in exactly the same config it was before.

So we know that if it breaks now, it's due to overuse - in which case there's not really much that can be done

If it works ok, then I guess that's good - just we're stuck with an older version

using the july 2007 catalogue isnt that bad, no one with a newer car will be without their warranty so there should be very few cases where they need to check parts or prices.

All 3 work for me.

Bad news I'm afraid guys - Eper crashed again (and it's the old one) - however I have a cunning plan - I'll set the monitoring software to check it every 10 minutes and if it's down, reboot the machine (this wasn't possible with the new one due to issues with the date checking)
