Yea, We Panda owners suffer the same problem:mad:

Yeah I bought the flat wipers for my punto and there a pile of crap. Judder like hell. My Bosch spoiler wipers are going to go back on.

:yeahthat: - had the sh*te 'aero blades'replacedd last service, they just juddered, squeaked and smeared

Give me the old fashioned Bosch wipers every time, something all wrong about flat wipers. I can't see how they would cope in rain on a motorway, I think you'd be running blind in anything more than drizzle.

Never had any problem (except with the first one). I sat under the irrigator at college one evening washing the car (someone had egged it:mad:) and the irrigator was throwing walls of water out, and my flat wiper never missed a drop!

How long will they last, my Bosch blades last between 12 and 18 months before I replace. I replace at the first sign of smearing or poor water clearance. I've done motorway speeds in heavy rain with old, worn out wipers, the second scariest 5 minutes of my life.

That I don't know. But it only cost £8 from Wilco motor parts, so is cheaper than the cheapest in Halfrauds.

How much do you pay?

my wilko value blades cost £1.50 each and last just as long but perform better than bosch ime.
although tbh they aren't as good quality as they used to be.

You can get two wipers for the price I pay for one, but you get what you pay for IMO. You woudn't skimp getting your brakes repaired, wipers are just as important.

EDIT: The drivers blade with wing costs about £16, passenger side is about £12.

I use 'Rain-Clear' now, so my wipers should last longer.

What was the first?

 Sorry, didn't understand:eek:

I'm thinking of using this after a very possitive drive in rain last Thursday after having gone thorough a car wash that used De-ionised water at the end which does a similar job for a few days, Rain-Clear lasts longer though:p

Bravo and Croma both have flat wipers as standard. Croma's are coming upto 3 years old and could do with some new ones. Bravo's are coming upto a year old and still perfect.

That and it's always raining here so it's not like they're not used.

yeah the oem blades do actually work, but you need to watch out for bonnet damage if the alfa range is anything to go by.

well i was a bit sceptical, read how bad they were, and a friend had them on his coupe, and constantly complained till they came off.

so a i tried a set on the wifes panda, about 4 months ago, neither she nor i have had any cause for concern, and a side bonus was that the water jets now clear the wiper arm properly, so based on that i wanted a set for my two

only now, it's just the paj, the tub gets a new normal set

it's personal experience i suppose, some find it fine, as we have, others find them poo, as jug has
