Top Gear is back Sunday night at 8pm on BBC2. :woot:

Some people don't like it, I think its great entertainment. If you want to know about cars buy What Car magazine instead. :p

:yeahthat: can't wait.

According to the news the other day, they are going to be switching on the illuminations @ Blackpool this year. I hope they make a program out of it, now that would be funny, especially if it's anything like their Top Gear ground force show :D

Yep, without a shadow of a doubt, the funniest programme on TV. My only reservation is that almost the entire programme is skewed to the opinion that unless you drive a high powered car you are a non-entity. Witness Mr. Clarkson's recent comment in the press that unless your car is capable of high
performance you shouldn't even think about moving out to overtake anything on the Motorway. He seems to think 90% of the driving population should be confined to our own little ghetto in lane 1.
Recently I passed a BMW 530d on the A49 towards Whitchurch. He didn't re-pass me until we got to some lights when he was able to out-accelerate me. He then sat in front of me doing 50 and slowing down for every bend. As the saying goes, "It's not what you do, it's the way that you do it."

miss Euro 2008 :yum: that would be a lot more interesting than the football

Got to agree, the programme is only good for the xenophobic comments made by Jeremy & watching some semi-obscure celebs chuck a saloon around a race course. As far as Jezza is concerned, unless you drive the latest Lambo testosterone (which can hit warp 9.5 in 1 nano-second and has a fuel 'economy' measured in gallons per mile) then you really shouldn't be on the road.
Although to be fair, they did a programme about MPVs and his top choice was the Fiat frog - above the zafira, range rover etc

You shouldn't take Jeremy Clarkson seriously, he doesn't even take himself seriously.:)

:yeahthat:

As for Euro whatsit... The choice is between watching three male car enthusiasts act like schoolboys with sharp, witty humour or watching a bunch of woosies whose biggest skill is faking falling over whilst throwing tantrums if the game doesn't go their way.

Top Gear it is then ;)
