I´m wondering who has achieved the highest top speed... on a german autobahn of course....:D
Come on don´t be intimidated by my 150km/h on my panda 750 ( lucky to not end up with a piston in my head:D) but I think it would pass 150 if the 4 speed gearbox wasn´t so short!!

I've had 135 before i scared the hell out of myself as the car took off on a little bump in the road. Still had about 800rpm till the redline to go:p
Thats the 20valves for you compared to a little cento though:D

Erm, Once upon a time, there was this lad, and he had a 1.2 75Sx Mpi Punto.. anyway lol. 121Mph with two of us in the car (27 stone combined weight) - That was down the M62. Rev counter was near 7000rpm.

R.I.P. My ikkle Punto *sniff* ;)

Oooh just remembered i had 115mph in my sei with 13" alloys downhill on the M5, thought the car was gonna shake itself to bits :)

I got up to 95 mph and then quit, but that was with the stock carb. It is supposed to go up to about 106 i believe, but i dont see how you are going to do that on a flat surface with the stock ADHA carb. Now that I have the Holley 5200 (Weber DFEV copy) carb it might be able to accelerate to over 100 without haveing to stay near redline forever (that is why i quit, didnt like running high revs for a long time). I will probably never try though, coming down from that speed in my car sucks. You get a weird feeling in you head, most likely from the wind buffing on your ears. I didnt like it. Oh, and the fact that running that fast on a road that has a 55 mph speed limit with occasional troopers is just plain retarded.
