this ppc mag thing on saturday got me thinking...time to make use of modern technology, and try to do in/on car filming, so i've borrowed a oregon scientific bullet cam:

which will do the low down "actiony" type shots from the tow hook at the front

but i also have a little digicam:

which i'm trying to site inside the car:

anyone done this before? any ideas on where's best? i have plenty of duck tape, and a bunch of little tripods:D

Yeah best place would be in the middle of the dash, mounted up slightly so its not looking at windscreen wipers. Probably stand it on a little tripod so its about 3-4cm off the deck.

Only experience ive had with this sort of set up is using a bullet cam and a small PVR - but it works well in middle of the car.

Edit - if its not wide angle try and mount it so that the windscreen fills the frame.

the little cam is 640x480 on video mode, so you recokn rear shelf, facing front, gets back of my newly shaved head and a bit of screen in between headrests?

or on the dash, peeking over wipers?

Being the H+S concious person I am, please don't place it on the Parcel Shelf because in the event of a front end smash it will hit the back of your cleanly shaven head and kill you (even though the footage might be good:p).

Center of dash would be good.

Jon.
