Since I'm now obbsessedd with my bike, thought this may be interesting to us bikers.

My RG 125 FUN (please ignore the lack of fairing bolts, that was just to make sure the bike was running fine after the rebuild, got the proper bolts in now)

Me neither :( Can't justify running one as well as a car at the moment.

Actually I lie. I still have a Honda H100A sitting in my shed. Bought it to restore for nostalgic reasons (it was the same as my first bike) but best laid plans and all that

Really miss my two Yamahas - RD 350 LC and RD 350 YPVS. Both have now got prices going through the roof as they are firmly in 'classic' territory. Nothing like a two stroke twin hitting its powerband though

:yum::devil:

shame you don't still have your SV... would have loved to have got my leg over that beast:devil:

She could only have looked better with u adorning her curves.... :yum:

haven't got a specific photo as its now in about a million bits across my barn, some resprayed, frame in pieces, new swingarm bushs required, and shaft parts :p

its like this, a bmw k75s, but in black.

way things are going i'm never gonna get to ride it, as I wanted to do my full license this year before th rules changed, its now pretty much too late for that = no chance of riding k75 :(

my three sh!tters, all sold now, were great fun while i had em

KH125 mudfun bike lol! I remeber my 1st "Trail" bike... a Triumph T25 Trailblazer... 250 single... ffs what a weight THAT was!

XS250 looks tidy in the fotos... as for the CX500... did it have the bearing problem sorted? (Knock knock... Who's there? CX... CX who? CX500) Lol!

Good bike I thought as a commuter.

Early CX500's suffered from faulty camchain tensioners causing the infamous "knock, knock" jokes! Later models were sorted and many despatch CX500's went on to do starship mileages. Still didn't stop it being called the 'Plastic Pig'! :p

As for the 'knock knock' jokes:

"Knock knock".

"Who's there?".

"Honda".

"Honda who?"

"Honda VF750 camshaft"!

:p

(The original early 80's Honda VF 750 was notorious for wrecking its camshafts/ camchain and nearly killed Honda's reputation. It took the VFR750 to prove that the V4 layout could be reliable and work properly.)

On the whole... considering the revs a bike can run to, they are unburstable, no torque unless its a V of course but plenty bhp at revs. Bikes Rawk! :slayer:

lol

the kawa was my 1st bike, was great fun (engine rebuild tho)

XS was probably the best bike of the lot, but sometime unreliable. we fitted dirt tyres (cut down) to it :D

the CX was bought as a restoration project, when i was young, full of enthusiasm and naivete. i didnt realise there was anything wrong with the engine untill someone came to buy it.... :(

got a pocket bike now, am about to spend £lot on uprating everything for the engine... but im losing interest again, want another big bike
