my signature pic (hiajcking one) links back to a thread i made and once had in my signature i dnt know why its doing this any ideas?

i have even taken everything out of my signature but when i re add it it adds a link to the thread.

when i open up the edit signature bit in user CP i see a bit of a code appear that in the signature box but then vanishes.

me thinks thats where the problem is.

your sig is a hyperlink, remove the link and make it basic text. you need to switch the sig editor mode so you can see the code.

thats the prob there is no hyperlink i removed it ageees ago

ive used different pics and it still happens and ive deleted whole sig aswell.

have you changed the name of the picture file?

ive used many different pics and experienced it with all of them

copy and paste all the text from your sig editing in your CP and put it here

Open User CP > Edit Signature > IN the edit signature box highlight it all > right click > copy > Open thois thread and reply > paste it in the reply

i work in IT i know how to copy and paste things

but this cannot be done as all thats in my signature is quotes

and the pic that weirdly didnt appear in my post

Sorry, when you saw that I was halfway through an edit...

Basically, you had that [ url = ... ] at the start of the sig, but end [ /url ] was at the very end, which is why it also included the quotes.
