forking out the best part of £250 yesterday for 4 tyres , tracking and drop link fitted , could've done the drop link myself easily enough but only got them to do the drop link as it was already on the lift and feeling lazy so i thought stuff it let them do it :mad:
 
became an orphan today r.i.p dad :(
he started getting bad again the week before brooklands and lost the fight at 8.30am this morning he had a good run of 82 years and i was with him till the end.
there maybe a delay in recent sticker orders as a i have lots to sort out now.

I get the slight impression you're not a fan? :p

Some of the shows are okay and some are just basic repairs but sell the car for full restoration prices. Some turn out great while other look like they should be scrapped.

The problem isn't so much the show itself but the knock on effect. Like all those God awful flip shows in the US. Find a car that's been in a barn for ages, tidy the paintwork, fit a set of alloys and sell it as a full on hotrod or custom for five times what it's worth. People think...

"I could do that".

...so project prices are driven upwards. But inevitably they can't or do bodge it so Craigslist and eBay are full of death traps.

The knock of effect of this show is project Panda prices could skyrocket and ones that do get done could be inspired by the hatchet job these fools have done. :(

I can't say too much against HMRC...I'm a Civil Serpant too lol

(That and if I wangle work right I can claim my tax back lol)
