What's made you grumpy today?

Bloody ipods, itunes and iFat adapters

After a bit of arsing about I fitted the genuine ipod adapter from fiat into the 100hp.

"this accessorie will not charge the unit" displayed proudly across the screen.

The head unit will only allow you to select tracks from one album, then it randomly renumbers the said tracks.

If you plug in the ipod with preselected track playing it plays through the stereo until you turn on the ignition then it plays whatever it feels like.

What a complete and utter waste of money - it will be returned to the supplier for a refund.

Second grump - connected the ipod to the new computer, downloaded itunes, it can't find my account, any of my music and procedes to wipe all the music off my ipod.

What a load of bastard rubbish.

I'm buying a new head unit into which I will plug in USB's full of MP3's and **** apple corp and all its witchcraft up the ****ing arse.

To be fair the latter is only because you've synced the iPod to another iTunes account and then setup a new one. Can only be synced with he account, and rightly so to prevent music theft and enable the syncing to function properly when used properly.

You can go into option in iTunes and select manage music manually rather than sync all music, you can then manually select / drag music you want on the iPod and won't loose all of the music if you plug it into another iTunes account, providing you don't try and sync it with that account (y)

I never asked it to sync my ipod though it just did it and wiped all my music rendering my ipod useless :(

It would have asked you at some point, unless you've previously defaulted it to yes? :(

And it doesn't render the iPod useless, just resync it or reload it from your music library :)

I don't know, all I know that itunes is needlessly complicated and I much prefer using usb sticks synced to winamp instead.

itunes has been deleted from my pc and won't be back, the ipod will be going on ebay the next free listing weekend, the adapter will be sent back too.

I'm looking forward to having an apple product free home/car.;)

Fair enough. What iPod is it? I may be interested in an upgrade if it's the right one ;)

Got asked at work what car I drove, replied "an Alfa Romeo Giulietta", to the reply of "ain't that a posh Vauxhall Astra"...

It's a shame the only response I could think of at the time was "more like a posh Fiat Bravo..."

An yes I know it's not a bravo...

You should hear what they ask at my place when I roll up in a 126 :D the best one I heard was "seriously what is that" ....... Lol

Been thinking new car felt a bit mushy on turn in, didn't settle into corners quickly. Thought I'd better check the tyres make sure the dealer included them in the PDI..they did however someone needs to explain to the guy who did them 2.3bar is not 23psi..

Its actually handles like it looks it should now..

Just checked the footage from my EPRANCE mini 0803 camera (n) What a load of :yuck: Can't use the footage for anything. Purple and yellow blocks cover the screen during the night footage(n)
Emailed the seller and waiting to hear back, but I think It's broken (n)

Batty old lady hit the passenger door on my Alfa. Felt the car shake.

She started to drive away, so I blocked her off and looked at the door, thankfully no damage. She opens her window and shouts, "can I help you with something" well you just hit my car and you were about to drive off. "I didn't hit it, didn't see or feel anything, maybe your going mad"

I couldn't be bothered and as there was no damage just let it go, but she drove off revving the tits off it. Could feel the pain of th clutch.

Thinking back, I think she's a danger to other drivers and herself and I didn't get her details.

Similar thing happen to me the other day.
I was parked in the Tesco car park, Tons of spaces all over the car park but this women tried to park her mini behind me. As you do, she drove into the back of me knocking the car forward a few inches...
We had the bike rack on the back of the car so didn't quite fit in just on space. Don't know why she chose to try and park behind in the one space that she didn't quite fit in when there were spaces everywhere else...

*Just picture an empty car park with just one car with a bike rack, then a second car trying to park just behind in a space they don't fit in... Doh!

Again, no real damage, just a wtf moment...

My Grump, my new camera i broken after just 2 weeks. Contacted the seller who has been helpful and tried a long list of "fault fixing tricks", non of which worked so I'm now expecting to get details of shipping back to china... all costs covered.

Oh yeah one more; the car keys to the Punto managed to go through the washing machine somehow? so if anyone wanted to buy the car off me then you'd get a freshly washed and nice smelling key & keyring :-D
