QH are on form with the X1/9 speedo' cable. It's about a foot to eighteen inches too short. I guess it's an 850 Coupe on.

if its old stock its probably rubbish anyway
they are now owned by tetroseal and are labelling parts up again under the qh name so hopefully quality is back to how it was 30 years ago
see if theres an alternative supplier
ebay seems to have some specific sellers of them

Naa it's both sides, I'm getting knocking and also crunching when I turn, think maybe both bearings have collapsed, wondering if I should just change the bearings or whole top mount, bout £50 difference, also a nightmare to set up the two eccentric mounts, like a two wedge sandwich with a bearing in the middle and both shock and body are at two different angles, all have to be positioned correctly
Must of been bang on because last two have been on for 30,000 miles

I wish i did my top mounts when i had them off for a damper and spring change....

they weren't great - but now they groan abit with the steering like there about to let go

Do the job once by doing it properly - spend the cash
it'll save time in the long run

Looks like Eurocarparts top mounts, fiat want £50 for the top section, £50 for the bottom section and bearing is separate also,
Euro is £70. For the lot

Been waiting for a replacement item to turn up from JYSK in York. Originally called on the 9th of June to report the issue and was told I would receive a call when it was in. Weeks passed so I chased them again on the 5th of July to find out they had no record of a replacement on order or myself calling in so was told another one will be ordered and to expect a call.

Just called them today and got the same story! They asked who I spoke to which I cant remember the name and they said there wasn't much they could do if I couldn't remember.

They have said they are ordering me one again, this time I got the full name and job title, was thinking if I should have asked for DOB too .

They have said I have missed this weeks order so they will order it next Thursday. I have said if I dont hear from them by the 11th I'll call again. If the same happens I think I'm gonna go to store and demand my money back.

Expect to do top mounts every 30k easy

God dam I can't get this K&N clean, used all the filter cleaner and done it 3 times

Warm water from the engine side and wipe the dirty part of the filter worked for me
Nitro fuel or petrol also works well but take care if using petrol.

Luckily no injury's and everyone ok.
Very minor and stupid crash, can't say much more until it's sorted. But.... my car was already booked in for yet more warranty repairs, including paint repair... so... what happens when i turn up with a damaged vehicle given it's taken so long for the paint repair to be approved?... again...

Getting p***ed off lending people things and not getting them back! Lent someone a box of fuses so they could get the 12v socket to work in their car and they can never be bothered to bring them into work so I can have them back

NO! I lent them to you YOU BRING THEM ROUND MINE!!!

I'll recommend halfords next time....... At £3 for 5 fuses they'd soon be grateful!

Well their toes anyway

Camping at a Landrover weekend with friends at billing aquadrome. Went to local pub for a meal, ended up having to watch the cast off of a Jeremy Kyle episode while eating my food.

To say it was vile is an understatement. Children crawling up the wall and across tables etc. No discipline at all. Why these people have kids really grinds my gears as it is but to have to sit and endure it, god help their next generation of offspring as they'll be just as bad if not worse!

Rant over.

Pisses me right off that. I've brought up my daughter to sit at the table properly and have manners. Shame other people rarely do the same
