Nephew wrote his car off, before you think roof surfing nope :(
Bonnet and bumper damage on a 51 reg corsa, he took the 1st offer and after excess has a grand total of £200 :(
It was worth way more than they offered him . . .

Sat in Tesco car park giving her 2000rpm as the DPF is firing :(
I ❤️ modern diesel systems :(

that reminds me the 60mph bit on the way to and from my house was made a 40 this week, i think that's going to cause dpf problems, and they didn't start the 40 bit until after the bit where every one crashed, an s bend with a junction on it :bang:

Was the light on? If not then just turn it off an drive normally. Issues only occour if you ignore the light.

Probably regens fine at 40 without your wife even knowing.

went to asda today asked the girl "can i have a winning lottery ticket for tonight" she say "of course you can darling" and gave me a ticket, it didn't win :( also she normally calls me cutie not darling! is that good or bad, is darling an upgrade or down grade?

Darling is a downgrade from cutie...

Drove home today - that should be a smile - but the hire car wasn't...2l diesel Astra.

Engine gives you either all or nothing, the random selection of cogs that were pulled out of a bag blindfolded and then put into a contraption they call a gearbox didn't help. Absolutely no ability to hold on to a gear. I'm not actually sure what wheels the steering wheel was connected to...understeers like an I don't know what.

And for the interior...the drivers seat appears to be almost central to the car whilst the wheel and pedals are offset towards the door. Cramped is not the word! Oh, and the steering wheel covered half the instruments, ended up sitting further back to be able to read the speedo! Despite only just being able to reach the pedals properly, I still felt on top of the wheel! And the seat itself was rock solid

The satnav wasn't too bad...cruise control was ok. Reasonably frugal - just over a third of a tank from Weymouth to Grimsby.

I'll stick with my Focus!!
