Costs me £15 a week on the train for it to be delayed, cancelled or packed. Thinking of buying a bike at £20 a month and riding to work. I've looked and it's about 8 miles each way

Anyone else do this?

8 miles isn't far, will take about 30min once you've got used to it and cycle at a good pace :)

Since they took over Post Office Telecoms it's been a complete farce, as you can see from my FB notes ;)

ah so thats why my post office home phone and broadband started charging for extras i didn't ask for?

i wanted to change it to talk talk as there was a big cashback offer but mrs dave say no talk talk are ****

I'm trying to setup a scheme at work, it's okay for summer but winter noones gonna want to ride a push bike when it's 2 foot of the white stuff.

Someone tried setting it up at work last year but there wasn't enough people wanting to do it! But it's tax exempt for the employer and you can get discounts on a new bike and pay for it every month with salary sacrifice

Received this today as well. It's on sky news that it's happened to a lot of people & been reported to the police

It is subject to benefit in kind though I believe, so do take that into account. My work does it, most by bike themselves though as can get better cashback deals and discounts online etc.

Started the day planning to wire in my new parking sensors. Wanted to back the car up on the ramps so I could get under the bumper.

Went to get the ramps out of the shed, opened the door and couldn't see the back wall, never mind the ramps.

Ended up gutting the shed and getting rid of 2 car loads of crap to the tip and 1 to my sister...only took 8 hours, but it's now tidy. Complete with a new set of shelving to make life a little easier (4-tier plastic shelving 1/3 off in argos at £13.29)

How do you cope on only 30mbs, I think our Virgin is now 100. But I don't have any phone line anymore or TV packages, just cable so no line rental. Mind you none of our computers can cope with 100 mb and even Netflix only needs at least 2mb lol
