Being blocked on the drive:mad:
Parking spaces two cars down.. yet some people insist on parking against a small bit of raised curb not long enough for a car and half of the dropped curb for our driveway:confused:

Nothing new and in the Punto wasn't a big issue, ground clearance is great can I can easily drive over the raised curb on/off the drive. But in the new car (lower sports suspension) this is not possible without damaging the bumpers(n)

Not into calling local jobby to have them towed away, but this down take the biscuit some.:(
Any suggestions?

Just call the police and be done with it. The :tosser: parked there can learn the hard way. Other option is sit on the horn, and I mean sit on it. My neighbours soon found out I want afraid to do this when idiots block our col-de-sac with a parked car. Funny enough doesn't happen often now.

had someone block our drive on the phone tooted the horn they just stared at me dispite me sitting in the middle of the road indicating...

So went up the road right right and right again and pulled up very tight behind them.. In their haste to park the car they had got very close to the lampost and those gray boxes for the traffic counter on our dropped curb section....

I just pulled up nice and tightly behind them got out the car locked it and wandered into the house 2 mins later door bell rings.....

answer door in my boxers (was about to go in the shower) yes i took my time to get dressed and sauntered to move the car they were not happy

police - :ROFLMAO:

If they say they'll call you in 2 weeks don't expect it to happen in a month.

Mum's car was hit in a car park, driver left the scene, witness got the reg. Reported it to police and insurance and they couldn't give a crap.

Just goes to prove that there is no legal system in this country, do what you like, coppers don't give a sh*t.

The same thing happened to me once when a neighbor had an overnight party. I lifted the offending car on my trolley jack and pushed it down the road on dollies so it blocked a bus stop. By the time the reveler surfaced it had four £60 tickets on the windscreen. It has never happened since. ;)

Now too late to get a present for the birthday. And I was pleased with myself for being organised too:bang:

Must be heart wrenching. I dread ever being in a similar situation, although would hope my tracker would sort it out assuming it doesn't get torched or binned.

Oh dear...if it's not found quickly it's not gonna be can't imagine something that distinctive staying in one piece. (n)

The Car has been found on a driveway 20 miles from where it was stolen from!(y)
A neighbour spotted the car after seeing the post on twitter, police raided the house the same day. No word yet on whether the car is damaged but it sounds hopeful:)

That's great, to steal something that sticks out as much as that and leave it in plain sight isn't the work of a member of mensa!

I have a broken tooth and am in agony :cry::cry: This is not good

I feel your pain  I've had half a tooth missing since November. I can't afford the £400 for a crown :cry::cry:

My grump: my left foot seriously hurts, it feels like it's twisted. Can't put any pressure on it or I'll fall over (n) pain isn't from diffing, the roundabouts were too dry for that :( didn't stop me trying though :p

So that's lovely weather today when I'm inside. So my day off tomorrow (having planned to sort my 406 which is sitting up against the garage) is supposed to **** down the whole day! :bang:
