Lmfao so ChrisUK do you drive hands 10 to 2? Never even acknowledge your phone whilst it's ringing? Drive at the speed limit everywhere you go? Never had a chocolate bar, sandwich or a drink of pop whilst driving? Look in your rear view every 30 seconds? Because if you do you must be an absolute pleasure to be in the car with... think not but you are quite happy to criticise somebody for JUST pulling over with their hazard lights on.

On another note, some of the new BMW's have an automatic hazard system if the brakes have been applied for a continuous period of time.

So do Fiats, when you decelerate at a rate greater than 7m/s2, but whats that got to do with putting over and answering the phone in a manner that breaks the highway code?

"lmfao" It's you doing the criticising not me. I simply told him not to bring people's pets into the argument.

And I never said I am perfect that's purely something you're surmising based on no evidence in a vain attempt to appear intelligent, witty and to get the 'last word'.

On another note, most of the new BMW's also have built in Bluetooth compatible with 1000's of phones going back 10 years.

If anybody wants to say anything else to me, as i'm not on here much, add me on facebook, my name is Luke Wilson LLB and that's my profile pic. Looking forward to seeing who adds me :)

I've made more than my fair share of mistakes on the road in the past, we all have I'm sure. Benny will learn from it no doubt, however in this case the driver behind also made the mistake of not paying enough attention, and should have been looking further ahead.
Then the ultimate mistake of feeling the need to be abusive to another motorist, without knowing anything behind the reasons he'd stopped. He could have broken down he could have needed medical attention for all this driver knew at the time. People need a little more patients and understanding on the roads how many accidents could be avoided if people had been prepared for another's mistakes

so I put my hazards on 5 secs before pulling over safely, this twit behind me did the same eventually pulls out and moans at me...

Ive had similar i realized i had a off side front puncture :bang: managed to get off the main a road and into a village got into a gate hole as far as i could but leaving enough of the car on the tarmac to chance the suicide jack...

chucked the warning triangle out about 20m behind the car due to the road layout any further back it would be on the main road,,,,

slap the hazzards on and leave parking lights lit (it was dusk)

thought it would be wise to put my amber LED light bar on the roof as extra warning (rvrl permits their use during a breakdown)

along with high vis work coat

So get the car jacked up and wheel off then some total :tosser: comes flying round through the village towards me id heard the car coming and stood up so not to get my backside clipped.. He then backs up winds his window down fing and blinding about my led light bar been blinding..... And how i was a something head..... lets just say i was not impressed due to the puncture and less impressed by his attitude a swift wave of the breaker bar i had used to undo the wheel nuts and a few choice adult phrases and he decided he didn't want to hang about any more and discuss it further

Well said mate (y)

i just hope amber light bars do not get dragged into this...

Flashing amber lights are allowed on (see link) :

a road clearance vehicle
a bin lorry
a breakdown vehicle
a vehicle with a 25 mph top speed
a vehicle wider than 2.9 metres
a roadworks vehicle
an escort vehicle
a Revenue and Customs vehicle
a surveying vehicle
a clamping or tow truck vehicle
airport vehicles
any other specially authorised vehicle

For a full list of what colour can by used by whom, see the source below - it also has all the links to the legal references

So the Panda classic fits into this criteria, maybe all Pandas should have lights on the roof :p
