MOD have announced a new policy banning e-cigarettes from all MOD premises due to overcharged batteries exploding and causing fires. Been off fags for 5 days now and relying on my '10 motives' rechargeable to get me through the day. Not even allowed ecigs in designated smoking areas. F*cking ballache! Surely traditional cigarettes cause more fires than electric ones? Its ok.. ill just keep smoking rollups and fill my body with tar and carbon monoxide. :insertdisgruntledfacehere:

get champix from doctors ecigs are a con any way

Champix is hardly any better, it's still replacing smoking with a substitute.

you only take it for about 3 months, reduced dose, full dose, then reduced dose, by the end routines and habitats have gone and you have a much better chance of staying smoke free. ive met people who have been using the ecigs for over 2 years and they still sneak a proper smoke now and again

The main reason I bought an ecig is that my missus started moaning about the smell and its far more convenient! I have no plans to stop smoking, ive already noticed my sense of smell coming back aswell as my taste. I know ecigs are a quitting aid. I can see why its easier to quit after moving onto them. But as i said, I have no intention of quitting

A friend of mine has been using Champix for three weeks and he's not craving cigarettes like he used to. He's even dumped his rolling kit.

Fantastic, because I can't stand smoking and I hate seeing ceilings and lovely fresh rooms gradually turn yellow :D

My Dad gave up a couple of months ago...really wish he wasn't such a grumpy old tw*t!! (Well, he was before...but he's even worse now!!)

Yep..
I can see how that might just do the trick!!

My Dad just decided enough was enough. Wasn't enjoying the ciggies anymore and fed up of breathing out of arse with any sort of physical exertion (eg. Climbing the stairs...please don't offer any other suggestions)
