I know you didnt give a lot of detail. But have you considered that this person is trying to help you be better at your Job?
I had a similar problem with a younger colleague in my office recently. She obv new best and doesnt need help. Now im sitting here watching her doing a Job inaccurately and in such a long winded way (take that as taking about 10 times longer). :bang: Normally i would show her how i do it because i want her to concentrate on getting better at the things she is good at. But no, she no want she no get. Im not stressing myself out over somebody who doesnt want to be helped.

Its not her trying to help me with my job (I've been there longer and train people when they come over, she just covers breaks and the like), but its her pointing out that we've had a tanker pull up (not easy to miss), my favourite one was 'oooo that persons filling up with petrol'. Makes the day drag
