Work. The IT manager resigned (as i mentioned before). This happened 2 days before the interwebz went KABLOOEY. Our ISP has major 'sues so no interwebz at work since Thursday and it's not likely to be running before the end of the week. No major hardship just making the day slow and boring.
Oh and 50% of my job has been moved into a new role which has been offered internally for any one to apply for. I was told it was an idea they were having a day ago. Today the email went out. Which felt like a stab in the back after all I've done for them. This email then resulted in a few emails from other members of staff asking me WTF is going on and why my job is being offered out. I actually have to apply for my job with extra bits here and there and no pay rise. Oh and it's a temporary role and if it goes permanent i have to apply for that too. It's reasonably standard but a major over reaction to the IT manager leaving, my manager hating facilities and me hating my manager being useless. It hurts more because previously they've not made other staff reapply nor have they offered it out. when I asked about this the CEO said "yes, in hindsight I should have" :shrug:
to summarise; not only do i hate my job but i also have to reapply for it
