What's made you grumpy today?

left work at 4pm just got home:bang::bang::bang: over 3hours from victoria to tottenham:bang::bang: next time i see a train driver im going to kill him:devil:

last night, left work at 5.15, got in at 8. Nearly 3 hours from Aldgate to Tottenham, on a bus i catch everyday which should take an hour :(
Probably same again tonight.

och bloody parents they think they know best tbh
i've just entered my 5th year of high school, and since i'm not very good at school i'd like to do work experience instead

i go to a garage and work for 3 days then college for 2 days, this last 6 months. seems perfect! i'd love it.

however they're forcing me to stay at school and since i'm 15 i've no say!

Mom and Dad do know best, they been there, read the books and got the t-shirts... Compromise and be happy they care for you enough to avoid taking the easy route... they know that to have any chance in the future you need to be multi-skilled not have all your eggs in one un-qualified basket....

As much as it pains me to say it they do. You are 15(not you Ffoxy :p) listen to them, they do know better than you.

Nice one Matt, few young 'uns realise that most humans prefer the easy route with problems, including Mom & Dad, the tough route is guiding their kids with all the pain, cost and grief that can bring.

Lol i've never been 15 (or 10 as in beths case) so you know i've always been 'old' and dont know anything   :D

:D the single biggest advantage of age (and experience) is that we really have done it, been there etc... thing is kids dont see it, they think teeny issues have only just begun, and that their secret things are new too. If only they knew eh?

I see it, i just choose to argue it :p Suppose im not allowed to do that now im 20 =/

Theres no special age at which point arguing turns into rational debate Matt but you'll get there!

We have 2 ears and 1 mouth and we need to use them in proportion, a talent that gets easier with time and experience, although there is no Mom or Dad thats perfick...

P.S. just had the awful thought I hi-jacked the Grumpy Thread lol!
