Think someone would object to me driving my Cinq through a stone wall, across my garden and into the house! :D

There's probably people who just object to driving a Cinq, so I would think so.

Probably :D Miserable people, don't know what they're missing!

I now hear that the Police must also be able to see who is driving the vehicle so if for say you installed two way mirrors for your front windows and maximum light was getting through them you could still be liable to take them out.

I'll be at a police station later on this week to harras them and ask for teh rules in writting. I'll post the findings here (y)

Quite rightly too, safety wise the driver should where possible be visible.

I don't understand most of these car rules and laws.. I mean I understand but we paid for our motors, we paid for our road Tax, we paid for a drivers license. so why cant we do things to our cars that are safe, like exterior Neons. I really don't see how they would confuse other road users and as long as we can see out the windows and dont accidentally run over pedestrians at night in the rain whats wrong with tints?

what about when we want our own bit of midnight incar fun and games which requires privacy eh? :p

Well your not even allowed to shag in your own garden now, if there are places outside of your property from which you can be seen. It's just as stupid demanding that you should be visible inside your car. I appreciate that it could be an advantage when witnessing or pursuing a crime/criminal, but that's treating everyone like a criminal.

You saying it's not important to see the other driver? I rely heavily on what I can see whilst driving. Is it a woman or arrogant looking man? Is the person young or old? DO they seem in a rush? Are they using a mobile? At a junction are they looking in my direction so i can flash them to let them go? Did they say thank you to me or should I be pissed off for letting them come passed without saying thank you? etc. etc.

It's key to driving IMO, this is one of the reasons why night driving is considered more difficult than day time driving, you can't pick up as many visual aids as during th eday.

Neons....see blue = emergency, see red = stop, see green = go. These colours should be kept sacred for these things. Otherwise where would it ever stop?

Well, tints...apart from all the above, at night can you actually see as if you didn't have tints?

for once i actually agree with u! somone catch me before i faint lol :p

i rely heavily on visual hints to tell me wat a driver is goin to do next, there is a guy who live in the same block of flats as me who has limo tint all round, and no u cant c anywhere near as well as if u the glass was clear!!!

that is y if i got tinted windows it would only b a light smoke to compliment the dark wheels!!!

In a pub near where I live, hats are banned so you can be seen. Started with baseball caps as Chavs took over the place and started causing trouble- but being winging bastards they made the rule for everyone, so even oldies with flat caps cant wear them in there.

My mate always wears a wooly hat, whatever the weather, and even at a mates wedding and its his trademark, everyone recognises him with a hat, and they made him take it off, he left the pub instead.

BTW i dont drink there at all as the ales crap!

as much as id like limo tints for me black sei i agree, you need to see the driver to interact. I gonna go for a light tint to mine, to go with me black lexus lights!
