i was going to go to a good scrapyard i know today just off the motorway. been there before so once im off the motorway i know where to go. Used AA route planner to find out what junction it was i turn off on.

so im on the motorway and take the junction, didnt recognise the road at all but thought this road probably leads onto the road i want. Spent ages in towns i didnt know lost. 2hrs later i think f*ck this and head back home without the part i need.

needless to say im *very* f*cked off right now.

looks like the MK2 WONT be MOT'd next week now.

route planners and sat nav...about as helpful as a fart in an astronaut suit

you can't beat a good old fashioned map.

I concure mine took me on a moterway on rush hour
iw as only 5 mins from home i wanted to be there in 3 tho

satnav would have taken you straight there.

stright around everything else he prob had it set not to go on b roads or somthing

Yep, Common Charlotte is the map writer for the AA now

I've got lost using AA instructions too tho, and I had a navigator reading them out to me - I know I'm often getting lost but it's not always my fault
