I parked up at college yesterday for my exam, and as I came out, there was a f**king dint in the wheel arc of my beautiful Cinqi. Some batard had reversed into him and not left a note or anything.

I come downstairs this morning, and osme thieving half-arsed unemployed (generalisation) scavenger tossing cant-get-a-girlfriend-cos-im-ugly (probably) bastard has tried breaking into my baby.

Knackered passenger door lock -0 which remained locked, and so tried to pull door skin back. Luckily they didnt shatter the window and my Dad scared em off before they did anything else.

I feel like grabbing the turds by the throat and kicking their measly, wrinkly, acne ridden thieving asses repeatedly, some in the head, some in the balls, and some in the chest. Oh, and I might stamp on em. nd Im a PEACEFUL man! Never had a fight in my life!

I just cant believe the mentality of these nimals who think that they ca have whatever is there. It is MY car, I payed good money for it, I payed good money to insure it and tax it, therefore it is MY car. Leave it the f**k alone. OR I will get medieveal on your ass.

So, what is the generaL consesnus on blanking the door lock. NOt the handle, just the bit where the key goes in, fiklling it with epoxy metal or somehting and smoothing it and painting it. Ideally i would want to take the handle of and be smoooooooth but I dont know a thing about opening doors without the handle.

I have remote C/L by the way. Does anyone think this is a valied idea, as I havent used the key to get in since i fitted the R/C/L

if your filling the lock hole for security you should weld a plate behind it,otherwise they can push the filler in.other option is to fit solex type deadlocks although this would mean having to use keys to open the doors[:(!]if you remove the handles you need door pop solenoids but this is a more complex set up.sorry to hear it mate, got the door of my cinq bent over the same way.

some guys had a go at mine a while ago, an left the screw driver on the roof!!! LMAO

i was thinkin about gettin a quote to get it delocked an weld sei handles in instead... as they are smooth an body coloured!

and soilnoids are that hard, the switch and soilnoid itself are **** it is just gettin the set up in the doors in the right place that is the hard bit!

i could get it done for bout £80 with paint if i had a cinq, it sounds a good idea but if they really after your stuff they will just smash the window.

there is an even easier way to get into a cinq/sei, but im not gonna discuss it on here, u dont know who mite read it, it happened on my uno this way so decided to try it out in a scrappy on both a cinq an sei and it worksB)

f**kin tossers!... luckily ive never had a break in myself but my alarm has been set off loads of times in car parks at work etc.

i'll neverforget the time i had to brake into my Uno heh. Me and my mum were going to some place in hackney (me in my uno and her in her rover 600) and we couldnt find it so we parked up and got out to check a map together... i left the engine running and got out and shut the door... checked the map.. went back to the car and the f**king door had locked itself!... none of the other doors or the boot was open, nore the windows :( .. wandered back and forth wondering what to do (spare keys were about 2 hours drive away through heavy traffic and i wasnt gonna leave my nicely modded uno, engine running, in Hackney! I ended up elbowing the rear side window in cause they are the easiest to replace heh. Was quite worrying watching all the pedestrians look at me as if ide stolen it!... luckily a police car didnt see me :p

Bloody scumbags. They wrecked my lock too with a screwdriver. When it didn't work they shattered the glass. f**k ASS!!! I actually found myself thinking just as you, Sam - and I'm a calm person too. I can now open my door with anything that is flat. A small coin will do. Hence I'm looking for a new door handle with cylinder and key. I get so damn angry just by hearing about incidents like this. Why can't they leave it alone. Just because they have f**ked up their lives, doesn't mean they can f**k up OUR cars [:(!][:(!][:(!]

ahh - the sound of ranting forummers rallying to my cause.

hehe. I just goin out to buy a new alarm system - a microscan one so it will link up to my current RCL.

I bin thinking baout my locks in this morning exams {8D]. I think im gonna fill the door locks - spray the surround red and the actual handley bit that you pull,. leave black. I love the solenoid idea and I would love to have it done and be completely smoooth bodywork-wise but I hate leaving Geoff in the hands of someone whio isnt me. Stupid I know.

i hate those alarms:D, but u got more chance off breaking into the royal mint if u have one off them fitted.

is it a clifford by anychance, maybe to 600, im not too sure off the model number

they irritate the hell out off me but they do there purpose, stop people even approaching your car, they a bit off a pain in supermarkets but there is a sensitivity switch u can flick, so uve got to be actually touching the car to set it beeping.

Bush! How in the world did you get locked out? It's impossible to lock myself out of my Uno (i think, at least without climbing out the boot!)

lol, well on the Uno you can't physically push the lock down without having the door closed (i.e. you're inside) or you're outside with the key (to lock it), maybe Bush's was different.

From what I remember Fixit has no key openings on his Black Cinq, and the hatch is smooth too AFAIK
