i passed first time with 7 minors, and also passed my theory 1st time i revised that sooooooo much but it payed off
i wish i was 17
I passed my test first time with about six lessons.
I had been riding a motor bike for a number of years and just thought it would be handy to have a full car licence.
My first car was a Ford Anglia 105E so that's a bit of a give away as to how long ago it was.

1st - Overtaking Tractor
2nd - Speeding
3rd - Not overtaking a tractor
4th - PASS! Actually thought i had failed

you failed for overtaking a tractor why? . As long as it was a safe overtake.

read carefully he said he failed for NOT overtaking the tractor, not FOR overtaking it
cos driving examiners dont want you too be too slow either thats why you fail if you go too far UNDER the speed limet

If you read double carefully you will see his first fail was from overtaking a tractor. His 3rd fail was for NOT overtaking probably due to his first fail

,Past first time despite taking it in January in snow during rush hour and with an original Metro that had a dodgy gearbox. Think the assessor felt sorry for me.
Failed my HGV first time because I didn't see the 30mph signs on the dual carriageway going into Cardiff.
Don't think those who passed first time are better drivers, just more cocky

Second time with 2 minors,took 28 lessons over the space of a year,broke 7 bones in my ankle so that slowed thing's down
