anyone else watch The Garage on discovery? Monday at 21:00. A new series has started, and i dont have sky at uni..

so ive missed loads of it. does anyone happen to have recorded it or know where i can get copies of it? ive tried the usual torrent sites (minnova/torrentspy/btjunkie) and found nowt

Yeah I watch it its good . Unfortunatly I don't think its that popular. I haven't noticed it in the shops either . HMV might be able to order it if its on DVD.

Would any Forum members take their Pride and Joy there?

No I wouldn't mainly because you can see what goes on behind the scenes .

It is more about laughing at a jock called "Jock" all he does is get moddy at everyone and everything.

I watch it aswell, if I wasnt able to do all the jobs myself i would have no problems going to them, there well capable of doing their jobs and I can tell ya behind the scenes of any garage there are hicups and people acting the maggot.,
and they even have females .,lol
in the first series there was an girl aprentice there who have a modified punto, cant remember much about it but it was turbo charged and had a huge boot install.,

I can see alot of similarities with the programme from when I worked at independent garages but its nothing like a busy dealership.

Highly Skilled Engineers?? Complex mechanical jobs?? Creativity and pride??......all very very debatable.

I cant recall her name, but she used to post over at puntosports, Chris (a.k.a Puntoboy) knows her i believe.

I remember from Season1, the car getting slated and her being the general tea boy or girl in her case, and then walking out.

I believe she is a model for the modified car scene.

yeah i saw in a recent episode where they followed up on her, i think shes some sort of organiser rather than a model though.,

yeah shes hiring modified cars out to people or sumin. she owns a punto and has just dropped a new engine in as she said on the follow up. Apparently her cars been in a modifying mag?
