Right this is more of a poll TBH, i've found that a fair few people i know that drive actually drink drive without batting an eyelid! and i mean actually drunk, coming to pick people up from night clubs after they've had a heavy nights drinkin themselves.

i've always seen on the news if a drink driving stupid bstard is driving, hits someone, it's always the innocent party that gets hurt more/killed

i really want to know if it's just the nob ends round here or if it's everywhere.

please note though: these are just people i know of though, not my mates, only 1 of my mates i know of drink driving got what he deserved.

reckon i should report them if i see them?

nope its not worth y go and wreck someone elses life anit worth it at all

if i'm honest, my main concern of drink driving is getting caught, not other road users, drink makes you confident though

almost everyone i knew was driving on drink and drugs when we were young and dumb. i bet things havent changed and the kids are still doing it. driving home from a club 200miles away after taking half a dozen pills and a gram of ket seemed like a perfectly normal thing to do in 2002. no one i know of ever got hurt or in trouble with the law through doing it, which is incredible in hindsight.

Yes IMO if you think there's a risk of them driving erractically and hitting someone/ something.

I dont drink much at all so when i know im going out i dont drink anything.

Its the way to go to be safe.

I have been out with people who seem to think they can have a glass of wine or 3 and still drive fine

well if i know im going to drive i wont drink at all, but i will drive after 2 cans, or 1 pint.

Yes... report them everytime! How would you feel if you knew they were drink driving, did nothing and then they mowed down and killed a child. Only takes a phone call....

Yep... roadside test like the americans do. (eye chart, counting backwards whilt touching nose etc) Or simply if you stink of it and blatently stoned is enough!

Field Impairment Test yes.

Hand/Eye Co-ordination tests and logic type problems.

Its a stupid idea driving under the influence of anything TBH as it messes with your ability to determine distance, perception of time and co-ordination something chronic.

lmao, i very very nearly hit the kerb whilst eating pizza and chips, dropped a pizza, went to grab it while turning a corner forgot about driving but remembered just in time
