Scumbag tealeaves in Brum.

My daughter parked outside my Sis in Laws for one night last nite in her 1.4 Saxo Furio. It looks just like a VTR with nice alloys, in Wicked Red.

Some scumbag decided it would be funny, or was so desperate for some money that they got under the rear bumper and kicked 7 bells out of the spare wheel carrier and stole the spare wheel!

Now, it was NOT an alloy but an ordinary Saxo steely...

they must have been SO pist about that! But here we go, search the scrappies for a replacement, and what if she has a puncture on the way home?

She is a student ffs running the car on a shoestring budget. Chop the spineless wan**rs hands off I say.

it's silly having the wheel underneath the car! why do it? though i spose it's better than a space saver!
my friends fiesta has it underneath and it was a job 'n a half to get the spare out!

Dammit...

no surprise really... these get nicked so often there are very, very few in the scrappies.

No spare then for a bit... been on the Saxperience site begging for a spare if anyone has one near to Telford, so far none forthcoming, I think the Pug 106 is the same tho? Anyone know?

Wish she had sold it now.... bugger... if its not the Stilo it's 1 daughters Micra or this goddam Saxo... at least, touch wood... the GP is being a good girl!

106 wheels are the same fitment as saxo Ffoxy

Theres plenty of 106 and saxos knocking about scrapyards it shouldn't be too difficult.

every scrapyard in britain will have at least 1 wheel you can use, and it will only cost a fiver, so its nothing to get excited about.

alternatively check adtrader for someone breaking almost any 4 stud citroen, peugeot or ford near you and go collect it.

just make sure you get the correct wheel, on a furio you need the 4 stud, same as the VTR VTS and westcoast. there are also many other cars you can take the wheel from, it uses a 4x108 PCD, which is the same as dozens of other cars (including fords, so a fiesta or ka would do, peugeots & other citroens), but make sure the tyre size is the same as well.

they didnt need to bend the cage either, you can deflate the tyre and that gives you the movement to take it off.

Unless you are gagging for an inflated spare.

Maybe they were selling their saxo and needed a spare.

Unfortunately it's the mentality of some people. They won't buy it if they can easily steal it. Sad but true.

Its no drama just a pain in the ar*e. Its my daughters car and she is a student and stretched for money wanting to be independent. We'll sort it, just shows tho...
2 year around Telford, no theft or vandalism on any car.
1 night in Brum (Edgebaston) and it gets the attention of the Scummies.
