Well after all this time of parking away from everyone and being extremely careful with my car in car parks etc.. .

Finally some C*nt had to go and dent it! Right in the front wing just infront of the passenger door below the little window infront of the wing mirrors. Why cant people have some Fcking common sense around other peoples cars and not swing their fcking doors into them, i mean its not fcking hard!

Only good thing i guess is that it hasnt damaged the paint, it has one little scratch that will polish/wax out. I called dent busters earlier and theyre going to come look at it tuesday. Had to get it fixed fast as every time i look at it i get p*ssed off! Hopefully they should be able to sort it out tho :worship:

Will post some pics after the cars had a clean tomorrow.

Rant over
Mr Bob

unlucky, that will cost you dear! May the culprit suffer multple dents to their car and forever know their wrong doing!

sorry to hear that mate, i'll be the same when i get mine, take up two parking spaces, hope you get it sorted soon

i know some people slate chips away but i have taken my present car there a couple of times and i can't fault, try getting a price off them.

Idiots that do this sort of thing wind me up. Had my old car parked at somerfields car park 1 year ago, cam back to it 10 minutes after parking it, and some tit had pushed a trolley into side of it . I wasnt happy on that day.

Took it into garage to get it done, £100 to have it removed, decided that the other scratch and dent my dad did with our lawnmower (especially angry at that one), could be removed at once. That came to £150 ish.

My parents decided that they might as well pay for it, so they did, and my car came back clean and shiny like new (it was done at Howden Nissan). Was like a new car.

The safest place to park is at a side space nearest a kerb, or next to a wall, with your pasenger side up as close as possible. ;)

Pain in the bum eh :(

I noticed this afternoon that I've got a flipping door ding just next to my drivers door handle... like a bloody big thumb print :( (n)

Thing is.. my 2 kids know not to swing open doors and to be careful of other car...so why cant adults

Try parking away from other cars if you can. If it`s a supermarket car park try to park away from where most people have their trollies. If it slopes, park on the upper side as trollies do not roll uphill.
Avoid parking next to 4x4`s as this type of vehicles` drivers seem to lack any kind of empathy towards other road users.
Avoid old cars, try parking between the two newest or most expensive cars in the car park. Also avoid parking next to a car whose front wheels are not straight as this is often a sign of a skill-challenged driver.
Having owned a Fiat Coupe with it`s paper thin body for many years I found these tips to be useful.
I would also recommend reversing in to a space rather than simply driving in.
This will give you a much better view when you drive out, especially on damp foggy days when windows tend to steam up.
Anyway, the GP is a swine to reverse!

Brian Leightons work doesnt look bad at all a couple of workmates had a prang with each other a month or so ago and the chap who came off worse had his bumper replaced and a new light cluster and you cant tell then again My mums car has just come back through rally re-paints (selby) after some one failed to give way to my sister who was driving at that red roundabout between Hook and Airmyn/ Howden and Goole not an absolutly perfect job (new wing has a Tiny dent in it which no one had spotted but me) but with the other parking dents it picks up at her work its not worth complaining about..

I have been there before all too often and it's not bloody right, I feel for you mate, once it's sorted you'll at least be able to relax again so hopefully they can sort it for you. I have a dent in the Mazda door, actually 2 large ones about 8 inches wide because some tosser couldn't reverse properly out of a car space, I end up having to claim on my insurance because they buggered off. It's been there for a while now because I just know as soon as I get it sorted some other tosser will do it again (n)

yeah try getting your shopping in the boot when your facing the wrong way, also try reversing into a space when im behind you and have to wait for ya, I dare you ;)

Totally agree, I park far far away from dodgy motors or tiny spaces, found my car today, tw*t in a 4x4 had reversed from the other side of the car park and into the door of my new panda. I had deliberately parked away from him.

Only a small £60 dent(n), could have been worse but still, if the cars to big for you to control properly, dont f**king drive it. :yuck:

To make matters worse I scratched the side panel with my work bag when looking at the dent.

Not a good day out...

Chin up...
