nope not usually unless your phone has it built in.
In an office this is usually handled on the PBX (private branch exhange) which routes all the called through the building (allowing you to call within the office for free etc).

I sense that that is a poor effort to make your bad customer care seem innocent and turn it round on the poor customer
Was it a psychologist?
its far more fun to tell someone you're putting them on hold, and then start singing crap down the phone, occasionaly telling them their call is important.
Got a promotion at work and am now part of the technical design engineering department
