finally got back from the hairdressers. i can see why people dont like driving through small heath mind or the coventry road.


other smiles finally getting my jacket sorted (using a nail instead of my dads leather punches mind) and going to sew the back patch on later.

and probably take myself for a drive laer this afternoon:)

leather jacket £20 and studs £4

just got to do the seond row on the right shoulder and then the left and probably get some more studs for the colar and cuffs and to do a couple more rows on the shoulders, sew my back patch on put some hard leather to back up the studs so they sit right sew the lining back up and then polish it :)

a lot of work but looks good for it.

the likelihood of having to help get the timing right on a morris 1000 . with me my dad and grandad all working on it this could be entertaining:D

Fun! :) I've got two of those toys. Always found trying to do timing properly
was a waste of time due to wear in the chain and distributor. I've had the best results from doing a quick static timing to get 'er running and then, with engine running, (all due safety precautions re moving parts and live cables) gently rotate the distributor until engine sounds sweetest.

Then tighten it up quickly before the b***** thing moves!

When I sold my bravo last weekend. Before they collected it i spent about 4 hours cleaning it inside and out. It looked amazing when i finished. Bravos really do look fantastic after a good clean. It really made me want to not sell it
 
two young Firemen came to fit me two new smoke alarms (and they were FOC) that made me smile, just wish i'd known they were coming would have put some lippy on. lol.
