Hartside pass indeed, best enjoyed with a run from Hexham to Alston to Penrith, then round the roundabout at the end and back to Alston and through Wear dale back to Consett. I've also ruined many sets of tyres on it and caused many an oil leak! Too many mad bikers on a bank hol weekend.
Its such a good road and its so close to me, hae to agree , about th bikers just go faster and keep up with them

Doesn't help if they are coming towards you on your side of the road!
the road might be fun but why was it built wiggly and not a straight line? there dont seem to be any thing it had to be built around
Follows the contours dave...if it was straight it would be near vertical given the summat is over 2000ft.
The GP is serviced and MOT'd for another year
This is what I get for posting from memory! My excuse is that the corner after the summit sign tightens significantly so I was too busy not crashing!
Over the actual pass once a year probably into Alston a lot more than that. Only tend to run the full pass if I'm off to the lakes or have a new car I want to give a work out.

So the "Tailgating" law has kicked in, 40 people that travel to a big place of work near us got done for tailgating in one week,

In fairness, they're produced in the USA, so a lot of that could well be shipping costs.
mrs dave's punto passed mot again, 8 years old and i cant remember ever getting a fail :slayer:
Stripped all the rubbish out of my Computer, Google chrome,Sky broadband search, everything internet related, and just run basic windows internet connetion in the start button, and it's way better more stable and faster.
