VM guy came round this moring and ran loads of tests on our line. told me that i have an insane db loss ( tbh i did guess this) and said "well.. the thing is 15 years old hmm.." took one look at the main cable coming into the house and said "yep shes gone". he then instantly got on the blower to some one and told me in the next few months they are going to lay a new fiber optic line from the next street to our house, with upgraded gold plated coax connectors...

I'd like to see gold plated coax connectors spliced onto fibre  :p

My smiles - awesomely productive weekend:

swimming, shopping, worked on trailer, cut hedge, fixed bed, laundry, tidy house, awesome times with Blake, dinner with SWMBO's family last night... might be time to relax with a beer :slayer:

Also I smiling cos I got Hamerite all over myself - and it ain't washing off very easily - gonna look a fool in work tomorrow

Sorted out my money problems :D.

Forgot that I'm putting £50 a month into some Save As You Earn shares thing at work. When I started putting the £50 aside, I could afford it without a problem. Now I can't, so cancelled it, thought I would have to wait to get the money back until the end of the 5 years...but I don't...getting £1,550 in the next 10 working days :D. Owe my parents around £1,000, but the £500 can go towards paying my overdraft off, then I can start saving for my insurance :D.

Plus, I'm £50 a month better off :D.

Even better, I only owe my parents around £500 :D. Will already have enough for my insurance in September. And I'll be £100 a month better off as I'm not paying them back...woo hoo!

Third and Final coat of paint is on my last alloy:D
Taken almost 10 months to finish this last wheel. curb damage was extensive to one half of the wheel meaning it was very unbalanced. A lot sanding, filling, spraying, sanding, filling, etc etc later is was finally ready for paint last week. (DIY to save £60  more than 9 months instead of 1 week DIY also:p - Had uni during this time so i couldn't do anything Hence the long time:p)

How to tackle the rear brakes;)
