What's made you smile today?

Mrs asked me to take her car last night and fill it up because it was very very low on petrol and she needs the car for her work (community nurse). Since she also has a job interview today and she was really stressing out about it, I didn't tell her to **** off and do it herself for fear of being stabbed in the face.
Anyway, I went to Tesco ( :yuck: ) because it's the only one near here, at about 9pm thinking the numpties would have got their fuel and gone home by then. But no! I was greeted by a forecourt full of cars jostling to be the next to get to the pumps and the queue was about 15 cars long onto the road :bang:

Wish I'd risked being stabbed in the face instead :(

Edit: Forgot the part of it that made me smile, although it was a smile of disbelief and bewilderment...
The woman at the pump in front of me queued all that time and was only at the pump long enough to put in about £5 worth of fuel - in a Range Rover Sport. Must have burnt more fuel than that just queuing!

Fail I did that at Asda at 18:30, no one else but me :D.

Wasnt a fail ;) when I drove past on the way from Eklipze3k to work it was quing back to the roundabout which is 200yards, and its busy enough sometimes.

doesnt help people quing for right sided pumps becasue there fuel cap is on the right, the pipes are long reach ones :nutter:

I find it funny when people quing for them and i'll go onto the left side and fill up and leave before theve even got a space. :D:slayer:

No it's the one at Clay Cross. I tend to avoid the other one at night because the potential for chav-slapping is too high and very tempting

You're right about the roundabout though. Bloody ridiculous

:ROFLMAO: ! I've been to that one too and that's not too bad.

Whoever designed that should be shot.

Up the ramp to drop onto it then bounce off it again.:(

43mpg up from 32mpg :D (After resetting the ECU)
Getting somewhere on the road to recovery for the punto.
Who would have thought that putting a standard exhaust on the car would hurt it so much:(
Hopefully it will go back to being in the 60's after this tank. (y)
