don't bother with the kits waste of money, get a fermenting bin and an old pickle barrel from jacks, go to the brew shop in crouch street (if its still there), get a tap for the barrel and the bits to add gas cartridge to it,

Me and a mate tried it once, many years ago. I decided to use the same species of yeast that Carlsberg use (saccharomyces carlsbergensis) and the result was quite amazing! The finished product tasted almost exactly the same as Carlsberg - pretty much undrinkable diseased **** water :yuck: My mate was the lager drinker, so it wasn't my fault.

The second attempt was much better. I scrapped the lager idea and attempted to make a bitter, but it came out as some kind of dark mild concoction. It was really nice, but the resultant hangovers were not at all pleasant.

were gonna syphon it in to 2 litre bottles when its done fermenting for our first brew and invest in a barrel later
