i like that type of punishment, but i dont like the judge & jury role of average joe, and i say that as a hypocrite who happily takes the law into his own hands, but i do make sure my victims are guilty first. if this type of punishment was carried out more often it would inevitably include innocent people, then again maybe thats a fair price to pay for a more effective deterrent.
How about bringing back the stocks?
Once tried and convicted by a jury really embaress people by locking them in stocks for all to mock? Would make a use for all that waste veg from supermarkets. mmm rotten tomatos!

exactly, convict them in the normal way, then punish them in a more effective way.

thats true, the 3 series is the new mondeo. no dealer would be seen dead in one, well maybe a dealer who sells full 28.4g ounces but those guys are idiots.
